How To Participate
Simply download the Registration Form above and start raising pledges. All pledges are due the day of the event. Pledges will be collected during registration, which begins at 9:30. All walkers are encouraged to raise the $100 minimum in order to receive the AIDS Walk Shirt for the Walk, which will begin at 11am.

Team Participation
This year, walkers can form teams of any number. Download the Team Registration Form to get started. Each walker should still have their own Registration Form completed.

Wharf to Bridges - Route & Time for 2008
This year's AIDS Walk will start later and will follow a new and improved route. The event begins on the scenic Santa Cruz Wharf with Noah's Bagels and Peet's Coffee preceeding a professional warm-up. Walkers will then travel along the beauitful Monterey Bay via West Cliff Drive. The 10k circuit route will turn around at the Natural Bridges Overlook Point. This fun new walk will make it even easier to raise HIV/AIDS awareness with increased visiblity and will be enjoyable for everyone involved.

Getting There
Parking is available a very short distance from the Wharf at the new Santa Cruz Depot Park (near the soccer field) or at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. The Metro 19 Bus line also has a stop within very short walking distance. Please, DO NOT park on the wharf. Any participants with special needs may call 831.427.3900 to assure accessability.

Refreshments & Entertainment After the Walk
This year's AIDS Walk will conclude with an exciting after-party on the Santa Cruz Wharf. Stick around to enjoy refreshments, music and the awards ceremony for the highest individual and team pledge winners. Official AIDS Walk events will end at 3pm, but feel free to stay longer since wharf businesses will also be offering special AIDS Walk discounts and deals for Walkers.

Great Prizes for Walkers
All walkers who meet the $100 minimum will receive the official AIDS Walk shirt. Besides looking great, the AIDS Walk shirt is your ticket to special offers and discounts on the Wharf the day of the walk. The highest individual and team pledge earners will also be awarded great prizes at the end of the walk, including sailing tours, stays at local hotels and complementary dinners at great local restaurants. It's never been more fun or rewarding to get involved!
