Surf City AIDS Ride

The Surf City AIDS Ride is a volunteer powered community event designed to raise funds to support the mission and work of the Santa Cruz AIDS Project

 

We are excited to announce our 2013 Surf City AIDS Ride date: Sunday, September 22nd. Check out our NEW registration page in the beginning of July! Stay tuned for website updates in the near future!

 

The Surf City AIDS Ride is looking forward to making its 13th year bigger and better than ever. Since our first year, we've raised over $240,000 for the Santa Cruz AIDS Project. The 2013 Surf City AIDS Ride will take place on Sunday September 22, 2013.

You get to choose from either 12, 30, 60 or 100 mile routes. We'll be leaving out of Santa Cruz County Courthouse in downtown Santa Cruz.

PAST EVENTS

Santa Cruz AIDS Walk

Saturday

March 9th, 2013

 

The event begins at 9:30am at the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf with registration and a continental breakfast. The Walk begins at 10:30 am and ends around 1:30 pm with music and refreshments back at the Wharf.

 

The 10K route starts at the Wharf and goes all the way up to Natural Bridges State Beach and back. In order to receive an AIDS Walk t-shirt, walkers must raise at least $100 individually or $500 as part of a team with 5 to 20 members.

 

Proceeds go straight to HIV/AIDS support as well as education and prevention services throughout Santa Cruz County. Participants are highly encouraged to get creative with their outfits this year - we hope to see lots of red and some fabulous costumes!
