Tribe at the Santa Cruz AIDS Project

Harm Reduction Center

Tribe is a community based Harm Reduction and HIV Prevention Center for all queer people allies. Although Tribe focuses on the health issues of GBTQ men of all ages, Tribe acknowledges the support of the whole community to create a healthy environment for all queer people and our allies.

The goal of Tribe is to reduce the spread of HIV by utilizing Harm Reduction that addresses the reality in which we live, love, and have sex. Tribe accomplishes its goal by providing a space for the celebration and exploration of sexuality in an uncensored context, encouraging participants to make self-empowering choices.

Currently, Tribe offers HIV Testing GBTQ men. Tribe is constantly evolving and soon hopes to incorporate social events, outreach, support groups, ccreative projects, informational programming and social groups into its structure.
