HIV Testing Services & Centers

The Santa Cruz AIDS Project offers free and anonymous HIV tests at the sites below on the days listed. Tests take approximately 25 minutes and no appointment is necessary.

The Santa Cruz AIDS Project is required by law to follow County mandated guidelines for screening purposes. If you answer YES to any of the questions below, you are considered eligible for a free HIV Test:

Men
Have you shared needles or injection equipment?
Have you had unprotected sex with an HIV+ partner?
Have you had anal sex with a male partner?
Have you been sexually assaulted since your last HIV test?

Women
Have you shared needles or injection equipment?
Have you had unprotected sex with an HIV+ Partner?
Have you had sex with a male partner who injects?
Have you had unprotected sex with a male partner who has had sex with another man?
Have you been sexually assaulted since your last HIV test?

New Needle Exchange Hours & Watsonville Location
The Needle Exchange has changed its operating hours for tuesday and wednesday nights to 6:30 - 7:30pm. It has also moved its Watsonville location to the corner of W. Front St and Walker St.
