It's time again for our annual Santa Cruz AIDS Walk, and we would love to have your support and participation!
World AIDS DayThursday, Dec 1, 2011 The Santa Cruz AIDS Project invites the community to attend the World AIDS Day Remembrance Celebration on Thursday December 1, 2011. This event honors the millions of lives worldwide affected by the HIVAIDS pandemic.
The program consists of live musical performances, words of compassion, lighting of remembrance candles, reading of names of those in Santa Cruz County who have lost their lives to HIV/AIDS and an opportunity for the public to share memories with others.
The program commences at 5:30 pm at the Veteran’s Memorial Plaza located across from the main post office at Front Street and Pacific Avenue. There will be refreshments immediately following the program.
SACP asks supporters to wear a red ribbon to show solidarity and remembrance of this important day.
